Great bar! Nice atmosphere, love that they have their own food plus Sumo Shack and Monsoon right there. Definitely recommend.

What an unexpected surprise. Great cocktails, friendly bar service, and I recommend you try their Philly Cheese Steak (out of control). They have a beautifully restored and comfortable restored 1950s bar with a chill vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.

Had a pickup order at Monsoon and popped in. It was like walking into a regular joint off the streets of Chicago! Had a great old fashioned from Angie and talked to her about the update and bringing the original wood front and back bar in from Illinois. It was cool to see something reminiscent of being back home or from the area. Will be back to grab a Chicago Dog from Sumo Shack and beer for sure.

Absolutely love the Italian beef sub. Food is always fresh and hot, servers are on their phone a lot at the bar in front of customers when you need something, but they are still friendly. Hate asking for refills, a box, napkins, etc when there is maybe 5 other patrons in there. Portable pos systems slow things down a lot, just grab a pen and paper and save half the time. Great food though! Best au jus in Mooresville!

Very interesting bar. It was shipped from Chicago. 80 years old. Lots of conversations here. Very cozy and relaxing bar. Food was delicious too. Great bartender alex. Owners are very nice too

Chicago Bar brought from Chicago, 1940’s - thick and long old school bar. Phone booth from the streets of Chicago in the 1920’s. It’s a whole new place now. Stopped by The Highway Bar and honestly this place exceeded expectations. The vibe is what first caught my attention - clean, stylish, and laid back without trying too hard. It has that perfect balance where you can come in during the daytime for casual food and drinks, but it also easily works for a date night spot in the evening. The indoor atmosphere is super cool with the vintage black-and-white photography, long bar setup, and upscale speakeasy-style feel, plus they also have outdoor seating and a back patio area which makes the whole experience feel even more versatile. Food and drinks were both genuinely good. I ordered the Old Fashioned, chicken skewers, and loaded fries - everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The Old Fashioned was smooth and balanced, not overly sweet, and the chicken skewers were tender with great flavor. The loaded fries were easily shareable and honestly addictive. Service was friendly, attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean from the dining area to the patio spaces. You can tell there’s attention to detail here. The surrounding area also adds to the experience since there’s nearby entertainment and music venues, so it feels like part of a fun local nightlife pocket rather than just a random stop. Overall, this is one of those places that feels easy to recommend whether you want cocktails, appetizers, a relaxed night out, or somewhere with a little atmosphere that still feels approachable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Mooresville.
